Tanzania has a good reputation for solid coffees that differ from some of its African counterparts (Rwanda, Kenya, etc.). The Peaberry designation refers to the size of beans that look more like small, rounded peas than standard green coffee. It does not split into two cherries like most coffee and is cultivated in this way for its uniqueness. 

The shape results in a more concentrated flavor as they are more dense. This coffee has notes of red fruits and a winey acidity that is most pleasant on the taste buds.
