Notes of citrus, cocoa and grapefruit
Guatemala as a producer is a fan favorite for a reason. Its higher elevations, rainy atmosphere and volcanic soils create ideal environment for coffee cultivation. This coffee comes from the Santa Rosa Valley whose nutrient rich soils create a mature coffee whose notes of chocolate and citrus shine through the cup. Its SHB (Strictly Hard Bean) and EP (European Preparation) designations refer to it being grown above 1,300 meters above sea level and the removal of defective beans and foreign materials during the milling and export process.
We love this coffee for its versatility and clean finish. It does great at different roast levels and thrives on its own or in a blend.
